The release date for Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen was October 9, 2026. The confirmed platforms are PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2.
What does this release include?
Capcom’s expansion takes the Arisen and their Pawns north into Norgan, a frozen region tied to the Fallen Dragon and the mysterious Eir. Its Relic Expedition Cycle turns recovered items into a reason to venture out again: bring finds back for appraisal to obtain equipment for subsequent expeditions. Dark Arisen also adds 12 Lost Rites dungeons within the existing world, rather than limiting every new challenge to the northern region.
What to check before playing
The purchasing distinction matters more than the similar names. The Dark Arisen bundle includes the base Dragon’s Dogma 2 game and the expansion. Existing owners on PlayStation, Xbox and PC can instead consider the expansion sold separately. Do not confuse it with the older Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. The new release expands the sequel, and the bundle is the relevant starting point for players who do not already own it.
