Rockbeasts: January 2027 window and its band-management RPG

Rockbeasts is scheduled for January 2027 on PlayStation 5; an exact day has not been announced.

What to expect

Lichthund puts you in charge of a band’s career instead of on stage at the microphone. The management RPG follows the effort to move a difficult group from rehearsals toward bigger stages, with personalities and relationships forming part of the challenge. Matthew Mercer and Sam Riegel join the voice cast, according to the studio’s October announcement. Their involvement is a casting update, not evidence of additional playable characters or features the developer has not described.

Before choosing an edition

There is an important limit to the date information: the announcement specifies the month, not a day. SpawnBeat therefore lists this as a January release window and keeps it separate from games with confirmed calendar dates. The cited statement confirms PS5; buyers should wait for the relevant official platform listing before making assumptions about other versions. A wishlist can help follow further announcements, but it does not turn the month-long window into a guaranteed launch day.
